Since taking up traditional archery 3 years ago, it has become a new outlet for my creativity and "need to make stuff". Having a philosophy of "a day is wasted if you don't learn something new" has driven me to try everything and developed many new skills. Being a frugal person, I have always balked at buying things, deciding instead to try and make things I need myself.
